Love and Light

The word "God" is merely a signpost, that points to what words can't describe.

It is impossible to be apart from God. God is light, and God is the dark from which the light came. God is all, and God is one; the beginning, and the end. God is love. God is motion, and God is rest. God is Being. God is universal. God is Energy. God is boundless. God is purity. God is essence. Wherever you are, God is there. God is Heavenly Father, the light of the Sun, and Mother Earth. Outside of God, there is nothing. God is indescribable, and nothing compares to God.

Jesus is my savior because he told me that the greatest commandment is to love God with all of my heart, soul, and mind; and that the second greatest commandment, which is like the first, is to love each other as we love ourselves. (Matthew 22:36-40)
Jesus told me of the undescribable power of faith (Matthew 7:7), the way to personal enlightenment by ending judgement (Matthew 7:1), and to get to know God by living in the present (Matthew 6:34).

Islam teaches the same thing. Allah is what God is called in Islam.
"Allah is the protector of those who have faith; from the depths of darkness, he will lead them forth into light. (2:256)
"None of you has faith unless he loves for his brother what he loves for himself." "Visit the sick, feed the hungry, and free the captives. (Bukhari)
"Take to forgiveness and enjoin good and turn aside from the ignorant." (7:199)
"And the servants of Allah are those who walked on the earth in humility, and when the ignorant address them, they say 'peace.'" (25:63)
It (the Koran) is simply a reminder to all the worlds."(38:87)
